Tuberculosis PPD Skin Test is also called Mantoux Tuberculin Skin Test (TST). It requires 2 visits, on the first visit the test is applied to the skin. On the second visit (48 hours later) the healthcare provider reads the test. The QuantiFERON is a form of Tuberculosis testing or “TB Testing” by blood draw, those samples are sent to a laboratory and results take approximately 48-72 hours. Tuberculosis testing is a requirement for employment for many different industries across the country. It can be required for industries that are subject to OSHA regulations and for companies that need their employees to work in or access a medical setting.

In order to be eligible, we must verify and attest that you do not have individual, employer-sponsored, Medicare, or Medicaid coverage.

1. Our weekly or one time on-site testing program is covered by health insurance as long as the business has had an exposure. Otherwise we have a simple fee structure.
2. We service small and large businesses in the Portland metro area.
3. We gather the required data for each employee and come to your location for testing.
4. We provide results to you in a simple, easy to view and easy to file format. Individual test results are also provided.

Do you provide weekly testing for employees?
Yes – we can schedule weekly testing appointments.
Is there an on-site fee for COVID-19 employee testing?
Only if the testing location is outside of the 10 mile radius of our clinic or we are testing less than our minimum employees.
Does insurance cover employee testing?
We are able to bill insurance for employer testing as long as there was an exposure. Call for exceptions.
How long does it take to receive results?
Antigen (RAPID) – Results are provided by the end of business day or the next day of testing.
Can our business schedule an on-site visit today?
Depends on our availability, when the request was made and where your business is located. In most cases we arrive the following day after the request was made.
What type of services can be done on-site?
We can do Rapid Antigen COVID-19 testing, Lab NAAT COVID-19 PCR testing, Flu shots and Flu testing.
Can an employee be sent to your clinic as well and the company receive the results?
Yes, the employer can send over their employee to get tested by Portland Urgent Care.
